“You Aren’t My Real Grandma”

May 18, 2010

Someone told me the other day that they knew someone who did not call themselves Grandma but their grandchild’s other grandma did. One day the grandchild looked up at Mimi and said….”you aren’t my real grandma”…..

This has gotten me to think about this grandma thing in a whole new way. Would that statement make you cry or would you just brush it off?

If you are still trying to figure out your name, check out The New Grandparents Name Book which offers more than 700 options.

Wonder if anyone has ever researched to find out how many men compared to women are likely to buy a book like this.

Let me know if you have made your decision.
