Cloth Diapers?

June 3, 2010

If anyone out there has heard their daughter or daughter-in-law talk about using cloth diapers, don’t freak out.

Instead, check out what Jenna over at That Wife has to say about cloth diapering today.

They are nothing like we had offered to us so many years ago with pins and rubber pants. We were amazed at the choices. How cute are these?

Now don’t get us wrong…we still believe that grandma has a right to use disposable diapers if she is babysitting, but just thought you might like to see what is out there.

Are your grandkids in cloth diapers? Tell us about your experience with cloth diapering!

I was changing a diaper the other day and remembered back to diaper pins and how many times I poked myself in the effort to not poke the baby. Even the disposable diapers are easier to use now. The new cloth just may become a status symbol–imagine monogram diapers. Who would have thunk! I sure don’t miss the diaper pail and the wringing out before washing. I know the disposable are not good for the environment, but I think I’ll use them.

Wondering what your thoughts are on pull ups. I have a friend who even uses them on her kindergartner during the night to avoid having to change the sheets.
