When I became a new mother a hundred years ago I was told to NEVER let a baby sleep on their backs. All my babies slept on their bellies even though my mother and mother in law thought that was strange. Years later mothers were told to not place babies on their stomach, place them on their side.

Mothers would roll blankets to prop babies up until someone decided to make a device for this. Now I just read this article It seems that we are back to the back sleeping.

I don’t know how mothers find time to work. Seems like they need to spend all their time reading about recalls and warnings. Guess that is why the young have children. I will just do what I’m told.
