About Us

Janet and Dianne have been best friends for over 30 years.

Between us we have:

•  8 children – 3 boys and 5 girls                             
• Children’s ages range from 35 to 12    
• 1 adopted child        
• 3 miscarriages                             
• 1 hysterectomy
• 3 daughters-in-law
• 2 sons-in-law         
• 5 grandchildren         
• 2 bi-racial grandchildren                                                      
• 2 adopted grandchildren                                         
• 2 parents died                             
• 1 parent with Alzheimers  (84 year old mother)                           
• 1 parent dating  (93 year old father)                            
•  3 in-laws died
• Janet owned a business
• Dianne is a stay-at-home mom
• and between us we have lost and gained around 500 lbs

We have been through it all together! Back when we met back in high school, becoming grandmas was the last thing on our mind. But here we are, enjoying the journey of being “Modern Grandmas”. We hope you’ll join us!
